Boiler fuel pressed from Gujarat’s farm residue

Grenergy makes biomass briquettes and pellets for industrial boilers, kilns and power plants. A cleaner, locally made replacement for coal and firewood.

End view of a 90 mm briquette. The hollow core helps it burn evenly.

Lab report with every order

Calorific value, moisture and ash are tested for each batch, so you know what goes into your boiler.

Sizes that fit your feeder

Briquettes for manual and grate firing, pellets for automatic feeders and burners.

Delivered to your plant

Loose truckloads or bagged, on a schedule that matches your consumption.

Two fuels, one source

Both are made from the same dried agricultural residue. The difference is size and how your plant feeds them.

Biomass briquettes

Also called white coal or bio coal

Cylindrical logs made by compressing dried farm residue and sawdust under high pressure, with no binder. Built for boilers, thermic fluid heaters and kilns that burn coal or wood today.

Calorific value
3,800 – 4,300 kcal/kg
Sizes
60 mm and 90 mm diameter

Biomass pellets

Smaller, denser and uniform in size

Small cylinders that flow like grain, so they suit automatic feeders, burners and co-firing in power plants. Higher density means more heat per truckload.

Calorific value
3,900 – 4,400 kcal/kg
Sizes
6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm diameter

From field to furnace

No binders or chemicals. Heat and pressure alone hold the fuel together.

  1. Collect

Groundnut shells, sawdust, cotton stalks and other residue from farms and mills nearby.

  2. Dry

Brought down to low moisture so the fuel lights easily and burns hot.

  3. Shred

Ground to an even size for a dense, consistent product.

  4. Press

Compressed under high pressure into briquettes or pellets.

  5. Test and dispatch

Each batch is checked, then loaded for your plant.

Who burns our fuel

Any plant that raises steam or heat from solid fuel can usually switch. Most coal and wood-fired boilers need little or no change.
